The Frag Nation (An Arena FPS Clan)
As of writing this, the website still was under construction, however, the forums are in perfectly working order. That will be changing very soon. Anyways, on to the topic at hand.

The Frag Nation is a clan or community of Arena FPS fans/supporters, with a goal.

That goal is this:

To bring back that classic gameplay that only Arena FPS's provide, to show that even in today's market games like this can survive, & that a game can still provide a high skill ceiling and still bring in the money, without having to lower it's standards.

Here's The Frag Nation

So why go through all that trouble when we already have a site forums and a great community here?
Is this guy for real?

The only thing that I will remember from this post is "money".

RE: The Frag Nation (An Arena FPS Clan)
yeah, well, i removed the links from the thread.
the site only shows something about some zombie game.

if this is about their community and forums, why having more
than forums?
a website about a game that isn't theirs? hmm, yeah sounds odd.

the nick says something about DOOM and Duke NukeM, both cool games
and give the benefit of the doubt.
time will tell the rest of this tale...

That game you see isn't a real game, it's the preset that came with the site when I bought it via go daddy. The admin who is helping me make the site, has a very busy schedule, & once it's done, you'll see. It's a legitimate website for my clan, The Frag Nation.

DooMNukeM: What are you hoping to accomplish here? Are you trying to get Alien Arena players to go to your site to use its forum instead of our own? If so I don't think that will happen, we have invested some years in the forum here and starting over somewhere else doesn't make sense. Our forums are created, owned, and maintained by our development team and staff.

Each clan here has their own way of handling their clan site/forums. Here are a few examples:

The Duces Of Orion: DucesOfOrion.com (complete clan site with built in forums, profiles, and messaging)
Clan CBMP: ClanCBMP.net (clan site only, members use AA's forum)
Clan SiNister: SiNister (clan forums only)

You can get a better idea of what specific clans are doing here: AA's Clan Forum. We all use our dedicated IRC network primarily to chat and interface with each other: Chat Now

At any rate, if you are just trying to network and support classic fast paced FPS gaming, you will find all of us very enthusiastic. If you are trying to drive traffic away from our game and online resource and redirect them to yours, you may not get the response you want for that.

What are you trying to accomplish here?
Have you downloaded Alien Arena and played it?
If you have tell us what you like about it?
What was your player name?
What servers did you visit?
Who did you play with?

Bonnie,
I don't know why you feel the need to censor posts. Please put the link back so the community can see it and have our own opinions. Some of us are grown-ups and can do this.

Our friend here has also posted on the Rookie forum where he received the more typical positive AA welcome.

RE: The Frag Nation (An Arena FPS Clan)
i am sorry, but i can't do that.

first of all, i didn't save that link anywhere.

second of all, these forums are about alien arena and
not about other games.
surely other games can be discussed, no problem with that, but
what is shown on this page, wether it is or not is, what go-daddy
provided, looked like a advertisement for another, commercial game and didn't appear
to have anything to do with a website about oldschool fps games.

third of all, if we'd leave all the links people dump in these forums,
we might as well re-name the alien arena forums into spammer-kingdom-forums.

last but not least, i am not worried about those people who do know and
understand the dangers that can be found on the interwebs.
my concern is for those who do not, and those are still the majority of the
people browsing the webs.

aside from the above, imho, you first create a website, showing the information you
want to be seen out there, and then, you try to promote this website.
DoomNukeM is more than welcome to show his final result, once it is done.

Well, all I can say Bonnie is that you get, and use, plenty of space to express your thoughts, and no one can edit them.

RE: The Frag Nation (An Arena FPS Clan)
This isn't about expressing his toughts, I don't know any forum that allows to do advertising for (a forum about) another game.
In my opinion, if you have a problem that Bon's method, you should discuss it in private and to stay on-topic here.

So to stay on-topic :p (badum tss): Nice cause DooMNukeM, hope to hear more from you and you're clan. And I didn't saw the site, so i'm not going to judge about your "real" reason to make this thread.
