Hi Bonbon, missed you the other day, I trust all is well!

Just wanted to note here that it doesn't actually matter if their are bot paths, the configuration for which bots appear in which maps is found in the botinfo folder and have a .tmp extension. The bot path files are in the botinfo/nav directory and have a .nod extension.

I just had a look at the server configuration you posted Devil and noted that under dmflags you have written: set dmflags 2384216/*2110800-271632*/

This is not correct and should appear more like: set dmflags 2359312. If you go into the game and click host server then mutator settings, select the desired settings there, it calculates the dmflags for you.
Also, on line 37 I see exec Bots_Devil.cfg, that will only happen once when the server is started.

Custom bots 101: Go into the game, hit ~ for console and type the following:

If there are bots present we need to first remove them: sv removebot all
Now you can add your own bots: sv addbot botname character/skin
For example if you want a bot called God using the character enforcer with red skin you would type sv addbot God enforcer/red
Repeat this until you have enough bots.
Now exit the game and go to your botinfo folder, there will be a file there called bots.tmp, rename this to custom1.tmp

I hope that helps

Edit: The last two lines of your server config need to be moved up, the line with map dm-downfall should be on the last line.

Funny, because on my servers, any maps without bot paths, the bots do not load.

Will look into it again.

I just tested that to make certain something hadn't changed, can confirm that at least on my system the bots load regardless of whether there are bot paths.

Bots most certainly load whether or not bot path files exist or not. They will not load if there is no bot definition files(mapname.tmp). Seems maybe there is some confusion between the two in this thread.

The DM-flag've changed me on purpose, I decided to change it in dm
the law is equal for all, in my country is one hope
