Script to generate curved bsp pipes.
OK guys, here it is:

http://svn.icculus.org/alienarena2007/tr...iew=markup
(On the linked page, right click Download and select "Save as...")

You will need to install Ruby to use this script.

Windows: http://rubyforge.org/frs/?group_id=167&release_id=10461
Linux: apt-get install ruby (or whatever is appropriate for your distro - google is your friend!)

Edit first few lines of the script to change the kind of curve that is generated, then simply run using:
'ruby pipegen.rb'

[glow=red,2,300]REMEMBER: USE TEXTURE LOCK IF YOU MOVE/ROTATE THE PREFABS IN RADIANT[/glow]

The script generates two 'region' files, to be used with GtkRadiant. One is the inner liquid, and one is the outer pipe. Use both together to make pipes with a flowing liquid, or just the outer shell to make 'sewer levels' or curved doorframes, or half-pipes or whatever. Smile

Todo: Texture scaling improvements, better OpenGL preview.
