Added an extra corridor on the sides of the center of the map and a Launchpad within the center corridor.. Gives more flow, and options of being sneaky.

RE: CTF-DreamLand-Beta and 4 final releases
The DreamLand layout is an interesting idea, sort of chasmatic meets rockasm. Would definitely be interested in playtesting it.

However, please don't use uppercase for any filenames in the future, it causes incompatibilities between the Windows and Linux versions of the game.

RE: CTF-DreamLand-Beta and 4 final releases
Noted Max, the map is re-compiling atm. (I forgot to add directional arrows to the map, needed to fix that asap, so good timing with informing about the naming convention)
Thanks Animal. Any more when I get on a server I look around at how the map is laid out and the techniques of the details and textures used within that map. Also been watching on youtube a few different game play videos (quake 2, 3, 4, doom, etc) to get some inspirational ideas for map layouts/designs. Next goal is some more DM only maps, the imagination within the brain mixed with them videos has created a few layout ideas I need to pen down before I forget them =)

Updated the file name and added arrows to the map. Added link in first post and here too.

RE: CTF-DreamLand-Beta and 4 final releases
The map reminds me somehow a bit on goregrinder (layout, not design) :S
However it looks good, lots of details, good layout... real good work Smile

BG -- is there only one spawn point on this map, or is that a problem of playing FFA on a CTF map? X

RE: CTF-DreamLand-Beta and 4 final releases
You can play DM on any CTF map.

There are some types of spawnpoints. info_player_deathmatch is used in dm maps, info_player_blue and info_player_red are the spawnpoints for each team in a ctf map. team dm dont needs those team spawn points, you spawn randomly from a info_player_deathmatch (well im not sure if you will spawn on the red/blue ones, never tried it and there isnt any dm map with those spawnpoints). If you play dm on a ctf map you spawn randomly from any spawnpoint for the red or blue team - as long as there is no info_player_deathmatch spawnpoint in the map! (im not sure what impact this spawnpoint type has in ctf maps).
I looked in the map and noticed betel placed a info_player_deathmatch spawnpoint in the map, that should explain why you always spawn from it Wink
Code:
{
"angle" "90.000000"
"origin" "200.000000 -312.000000 -80.000000"
"classname" "info_player_deathmatch"
}
might be too technical or hard to understood, the point is that BG made a lil mistake in the map, playing ffa on ctf maps works
